Happy New Year Reader! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are easing into 2025 feeling refreshed. I spent a nice, quiet break at home with family and friends, and it was just what I needed. Christmas brought some fun surprises! My husband gifted me a new Samsung monitor, and I’m absolutely loving it (check it out below). I also treated myself to a Garmin watch, which has been an instant obsession. I love the body battery counter. And after seeing the insane photo quality on my husband’s new Samsung Galaxy S24 phone compared to my iPhone, I’ve officially decided to make the switch. (Who knew I’d be a Samsung convert?) As we step into the new year, I always jot down some goals to strive for throughout the year. One I’m really focusing on this year? Stop working at 6 PM, make a real meal, and actually relax for a little while at night, either with a show or a good book (wish me luck on that one!). Send me some good show/book recommendations that you're loving, if you don't mind. I'd really appreciate it! Oh, and here’s a funny lesson learned: don’t try microneedling right before the holidays. Let’s just say I was NOT prepared for how terrifying my face would look right after the treatment—yikes! I mean, I've tried chemical peels and dermaplaning in the past, but this was horror movie-level terrifying! But once I got past the scary phase, the results were actually great. Acne scars that I've had since I was a teenager are almost gone after just 1 treatment. Full blog post on the experience is coming soon—because you deserve all the juicy details, and I didn't want to terrify anyone with photos until I gave you a fair warning lol. 🌴 Last Call for the Galapagos! Hi Reader, It’s been a minute! The past month has been a whirlwind—I had a last-minute opportunity to explore the Dalarna region of Sweden (so charming! More content on that coming soon), I’ve been gearing up for my Galapagos group trip next month, and, unfortunately, dealing with some migraines that really slowed me down. (Does anyone else deal with migraines at this time of year?! So frustrating.) But anywho, I still managed to put together some fun new content! ✈️ New Travel & Style Posts...
Hi friends, I hope your 2025 is off to a fabulous start! My husband and I recently celebrated 12 years of marriage. 🥂 I still can’t believe it’s been that long—it feels like just yesterday we were navigating the chaos of our quirky wedding day (if you haven’t read my post about it, you can check it out here). That day was the start of our travel adventures together, and I couldn’t imagine doing it all with anyone else. 💕 Our wedding day, more than 12 years ago! Speaking of adventures, I know...
Hi Reader, I hope you’re having a festive and fun week! I celebrated my birthday on Sunday, but truthfully, having a birthday this close to Christmas means I rarely want to do much on the actual day. My social battery is already at zero (introvert problems, right?). My husband and I laid low, and we’re treating ourselves to a couple’s massage after Christmas instead. I also met up with my friend Shannon this week for a wonderful lunch celebration at Mill City Public House in Appleton (get...
