Hi friends, If you’re celebrating, I hope you’re gearing up for a relaxing Thanksgiving tomorrow... or at least one with minimal kitchen chaos. Quick PSA before the big cooking day: watch out for AI-generated recipes floating around online. I fell for two of them on Pinterest recently, and while they looked totally normal at first glance, they turned out absolutely disgusting. In hindsight, the red flags were obvious: they had generic intro language, overly polished photos, weird formatting, no ads (real food blogs always have ads), no comments, and an “About Me” page that might as well have been written by ChatGPT wearing sunglasses. If you end up making something amazing tomorrow, hit reply and tell me what you cooked! I love seeing what everyone makes for the holidays. And if you’ve personally run into any AI-recipe fails… please tell me I’m not alone. Feel free to forward this to anyone who might need last-minute shopping help (or a heads-up to double-check those Pinterest recipes). And a quick reminder — my Amazon gift card giveaway is still going strong if you haven’t jumped in yet. Wishing you a smooth, delicious, AI-recipe-free Thanksgiving tomorrow! |
