Hi friends, Hope everyone survived the inbox mayhem over the past week! I’m keeping things very low-key today — just a quick note with something fun I’ve been working on. I finally published my Fun Things to Do in Chicago for First-Time Visitors guide. If you’re planning a trip (or just daydreaming about one), this one breaks down the best views, neighborhoods, museums, food stops, and a few places people usually overlook. And here’s the new YouTube video: Chicago tip of the day: Don’t sleep on the Architecture Center river cruise. Everyone talks about it, but it really is one of the best ways to see the city — even in winter. The boats still run, you just have to bundle up (or sit inside where it’s warm). It’s quiet, the views are incredible, and the guides are actually interesting, not cheesy. Total win for first-timers. And a random little thing I’ve been loving lately: downloading Google Maps for offline use before every trip. It saves me constantly — especially in cities where cell service is spotty, or the GPS likes to act up. Highly recommend. A few more recent posts:
More soon, and thanks for being here. ❤️ |

Hi there! I just shared a new review I’ve been working on....Quince. I’ve actually been ordering from them for the last couple of years, so this isn’t a first impression. I’ve worn a lot of these pieces on trips, at home, washed them more times than I can count… and I have some thoughts. 👉 Or read the full review on the blog Short version: some items have held up really well, and I still wear them all the time. A few didn’t live up to the hype, and I’d be a lot more selective with what I...
Hi there! This is a bit of a random mix today, but it’s basically what I’ve been looking at lately. On one end of the spectrum… I’ve been browsing MyTheresa again. Definitely not Amazon-level pricing, but if I’m going to spend more on something, I’d rather it be a piece I’ll actually wear for years. I’ve ordered from them a few times now, so if you’re curious what the experience is like (shipping, returns, customer service, all of that), I wrote a full review here:👉 MyTheresa review On the...
Hi there! Just a quick reminder that my $100 Amazon gift card giveaway is still open...but not for much longer. If you’ve been meaning to enter, you can do that here:👉 Enter the giveaway I paired it with a roundup of the Amazon purchases I actually use all the time, so if you’re in a browsing mood, that’s all in the same post too. Quick style find I’ve been browsing lately - I’ve actually had really good experiences ordering from MyTheresa: I also broke down the full experience (shipping,...
